Our Staff
Our staff love Willow Lake and are the single most important ingredient of our success. We are proud that so many of our staff return year after year and that so many are former Willow Lake campers! It is with great pride that these staff carry on and continue to build the wonderful Willow Lake tradition.

Each Willow Lake staff member goes through a detailed hiring process which includes personal interviews, background and reference checks as well as an intensive pre-camp orientation. Our staff also participates in ongoing staff development and training throughout the summer. In selecting our staff, we understand that each camper’s success is closely linked to their interaction with our staff.
During the summer, your child’s unit will be supervised by one of our responsible Unit Leaders. Our Unit Leaders are teachers and parents who are well versed working with children on a year round basis. At camp, Unit Leaders are your direct connection and contact at camp. Unit Leaders are responsible for all of your needs and your camper’s needs while at camp and will be in contact with you before and during the summer. Of course our directors are always available to speak with you as well.
